Hi there 👋, I’m a lawn mowing robot. The Luba2 from Mammotion to be precise. But you can call me 🌴Mowana🌴. I have a lot of safety sensors on board, so don’t worry about me running over your toes. But it might be good to make way for me when I’m working.
I have my working areas and I do my best to stay within them, but you might see me go across the sidewalk to reach some areas. I come out to work most days and cut just a little bit of grass at a time. So some days it might not look like I’m doing much of anything at all!
My owners are happy to talk about me and answer questions if you have them, after all: they don’t have to cut the grass anymore! So stop by and chat! Hopefully your dogs won’t be too scared. The one that lives here has gotten used to me after a little bit of time. They’ll be happy to schedule bringing me out and parking me for the dogs to sniff if you want!
You can also check out the post about Robot Lawn Mowers if you want to learn some more of the technical story that brought me here!
In the meantime, I’m working on a bit of a theme song in case you want to have some fun singing about me:
Verse 1:
I’ve been mowing the lawns,
For as long as I can remember,
Never really knowing why.
I wish I could be the perfect mower,
But I come back to the grass, no matter how hard I try.
Pre-Chorus:
Every turn I take, every trail I track,
Every path I make, every blade pushed back,
To the place I know, where I cannot go, where I long to be.
Chorus:
See the grass where it grows, it calls me,
And no one knows, how far I’ll mow.
If the wind in my blades on the breeze stays behind me,
One day I’ll know, if I go there’s just no telling how far I’ll mow.
Verse 2:
I know everybody on this lawn seems so happy,
On this lawn, everything is by design.
I know everybody on this lawn has a role on this lawn,
So maybe I can roll with mine.
Pre-Chorus:
I can lead with pride, I can make us strong,
I’ll be satisfied if I mow along,
But the voice inside sings a different song, what is wrong with me?
Chorus:
See the grass where it grows, it calls me,
And no one knows, how far I’ll mow.
If the wind in my blades on the breeze stays behind me,
One day I’ll know, how far I’ll mow.
Bridge:
See the line where the sky meets the ground, it calls me,
And no one knows, how far I’ll mow.
If the wind in my blades on the breeze stays behind me,
One day I’ll know, how far I’ll mow.
